How to care for your jewellery?
Always try to avoid your jewellery coming into contact with soap, bleach, perfume, hairsprays, cosmetics and any form or chemical which may cause damage. If possible, keep each piece of jewellery separate to avoid items from rubbing against each other. This can be done at night by placing items in a box with compartments.
Gold jewellery can be cleaned using a small amount of mild liquid detergent in a bowl of warm water. Us a soft brush on the jewellery until there is a lather around it. Then rinse off with warm water but be sure not to let anything slip down the drain!
However, this form of cleaning should be avoided with items that are gem set or include pearls.
Once bought, please check regularly for damage or wear. The claws of stone set rings should be inspected as there may be danger of the stone being lost.
